Ipswich Rider Training offer three types of Advanced Training Course  

Experienced  

These courses are designed specifically for those wanting to ‘brush up’ on one or two areas of their riding skills, possibly in preparation for a ROSPA or IAM Advanced riding test  

Improver  

Many riders wish to improve beyond their CBT and DSA test. This course is ideal for those who want to improve their confidence on a bigger bike and offers an introduction to advanced riding techniques  

Refresher

For those who have had a long ‘lay off’ from bikes but would like to get back to riding. Modern   motorcycles have hugely improved performance and handling to the machines of yesteryear,   but a high performance bike will not compensate for a rusty rider’s lack of skill - indeed it may   exaggerate it - sometimes, with disastrous results.

This course is designed to improve   confidence in the bike and the environment. Ideal for those looking to purchase their 1st   modern bike. Bike hire is available on this course   

All Advanced courses are structured around ‘ROADCRAFT’ , the Police Riders manual and are available in ½ or 1 day modules

All courses include an assessment ride, individually structured advice and guidance. In addition a written report will be sent following the completion of the experienced and improver courses.

Our Advanced Instructors are members of the National Association of Advanced Motorcycle Instructors and hold either a ROSPA Dipolma or Police Class 1 qualification
